The NOPD is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred near the intersection of N. Rocheblave and Pauger Streets.
Fifth District officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area at or about 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, (March 24). Upon arrival, officers discovered one adult male victim lying in a vacant lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead on scene.
Investigators are searching for person(s) involved in this incident as well as a motive.
