NOPD Arrests Two Subjects in Fourth District Business Burglary

NOPD officers arrested two subjects in connection with a simple business burglary incident that occurred in the 100 block of Delaronde Street.

The incident happened on Thursday, (March 22) at or around 12:34 a.m. Tosheam Dudley (DOB: 08-03-1971) and Jessica Gorsuch (DOB: 10-15-1986) were captured on surveillance video cutting the locks off a side gate to gain entry to the business. The subjects were observed prying the locks off the freezer, at which time they both entered the walk-in freezer and began removing several cases of meat and beer, placing the property into a shopping cart.

The subjects fled the business on foot, but later returned at or around 1:27 a.m. in an unknown red vehicle. The subjects then began removing more cases of beer and meat from the business, placing the property inside the vehicle and fleeing the scene.

The reporting person told police he observed 15 pounds of pork, 30 pounds of catfish, 20 cases of beer and two cases of bacon were stolen from the business.

Both subjects were booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center and charged with simple burglary and simple criminal damage to a property.
