NOPD Arrest Subjects in Armed Robbery Incident

NOPD officers arrested two individuals in connection with an armed robbery incident that occurred at or about 8:10 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018.

The victim was walking westbound in the 2600 block of N. Villere Street when he was approached by the pictured subjects. During this incident Eugene Scarborough (DOB: 07-11-1986) produced a firearm and pointed the weapon at the victim while Tiaja Pierre (DOB: 10-14-1999) rummaged through the victim’s pockets. The perpetrators then fled the scene with the victim’s possessions.

Scarborough was arrested on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, for several other incidents that occurred in the Fifth District. Scarborough will receive additional charges in connection with this armed robbery incident.

Fifth District officers arrested Pierre on Monday, (March 19). Pierre was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on an armed robbery charge.
