Suspects Identified in Aggravated Burglary, Battery on Forshey Street

The NOPD has obtained arrest warrants for Keithshon Berryhill (DOB: 12-18-1995) and Brittany Baham (DOB: 04-27-1991) in connection with an aggravated burglary that also included a battery on March 13, 2017 in the 8900 block of Forshey Street.

The victim told police that she had been out with a friend at a bar earlier in the evening when she was involved in a fist fight with three unknown females. During the fight, she said, she lost her cell phone, identified as an iPhone 7 Plus. After the altercation ended, an Orleans Parish Sheriff’s deputy ordered all involved to leave the casino. The victim told police that she returned home and attempted to call her phone, at which time an unknown female answered and said she was heading to the victim’s residence to return the phone. About 10 minutes later, the victim said, she heard a knock on her door from the female claiming to have the victim’s phone. When the victim partially opened the door, two females allegedly forced their way inside of the residence and physically assaulted the victim, reportedly punching the victim several times in the face and body. The victim’s daughter then reportedly came to her mother’s aid and stopped the attack. The two females then allegedly rummaged through the victim’s purse and took the victim’s cell phone before fleeing the scene in a black Acura vehicle with an unknown license plate.

Through the course of investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspects in this incident as Berryhill and Bayham.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Keithshon Berryhill and Brittany Bayham is asked to contact Second District detectives at 504-658-6020.
