NOPD Arrests Two Suspects for Burglary on Curran Boulevard

NOPD Arrests Two Suspects for Burglary on Curran Boulevard

The NOPD has arrested Kenneth Alphonse (DOB: 09-09-1998) and Derrick Cobbins (DOB: 06-09-1999) after they were seen burglarizing a home in the 10000 block of Curran Boulevard on Tuesday (March 14).

At around 3:10 p.m., Alphonse and Cobbins were observed by nearby residents burglarizing a home in the area and stealing several items. The two suspects were quickly apprehended at about 4:30 p.m., Cobbins was arrested in the 7900 block of Read Boulevard and Alphonse was arrested in the 7800 block of Read Boulevard. Both suspects were apprehended by officers of the New Orleans Police Department Seventh District along with assistance from the Louisiana State Police Troop B, the FBI and New Orleans Field Office.

Police are also searching for a third suspect whose first name is Gerald also known as  “9th Ward”. The suspect is only wanted for questioning in connection with this incident.
