New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for theft by fraud.
Wanted is Raychel Jefferson (pictured), Black male, height 5' 9", and weight 155 pounds.
According to investigators, on June 3, 2026 in the 1000 block of Horace Street Raychel Jefferson defrauded the elderly victim by impersonating a contractor, receiving payment, and then not performing the paid-for work. A warrant for his arrest is on file.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
