The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a simple robbery investigation.
On May 19, 2023 the victim reported that he was standing at the intersection of Bourbon and Bienville Streets when an unknown black male ran up and snatched his cell phone out of his hands.
Through investigation, officers identified Stephen West (pictured black male, DOB: 07-26-2000) as one of two people involved in this incident.
He is being sought on charges of principle to simple robbery, aggravated flight and hit and run driving.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
