Persons of Interest Sought for Questioning in NOPD Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating two subjects identified as persons of interest for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a homicide on April 13, 2022, in the 6700 block of Mayo Boulevard.

Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives have developed Tyre Stephens (pictured at left, black male, DOB: 06-21-2002) and Brandon Ferdinand (pictured at right, black male, DOB: 06-06-2004) as persons of interest in this investigation. The two subjects are not currently wanted on criminal charges regarding this case. However, detectives feel the two have knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to interview them.
