NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a male subject wanted for a simple robbery incident that occurred on June 25, 2021.
The pictured unknown subject was captured on security cameras snatching the victim’s cell phone from her hands in an elevator of a building located in the 500 block of Canal Street. The subject fled the location after the incident.
The subject is described as a black male standing 5’5” tall and weighing about 140 pounds. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black baseball cap, and dark colored track pants with white stripes.
