NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD arrested Josaiha Sanders (pictured; DOB: 12/20/00) for drug possession with intent to distribute on June 24, 2021.
At around 11 p.m., Eighth District detectives conducting walking patrols in the French Quarter observed Sanders selling marijuana infused edibles in the 700 block of Bourbon Street. After conducting a stop, detectives were able to verify the products contained THC through preliminary testing. They confiscated 58 pre-packaged marijuana edibles, several servings of raw marijuana, and cash.
