The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Allen Baggett (pictured, DOB: 08-21-1958) in the investigation of an aggravated assault that occurred on May 16, 2020 in the Sixth District.
The victim stated that while inside of their shared residence, she and Baggett were involved in a verbal argument before Baggett allegedly attempted to remove a microwave from the residence by retrieving a kitchen knife and cutting the power cord. The victim added that as she stopped him from leaving with the microwave, Baggett raised the same kitchen knife above his head at a downward angle and threatened to harm the victim.
Baggett is described as a black male with gray hair, standing approximately 5’3” and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He was last observed wearing a gray shirt and gray hooded jacket.
