Suspect Arrested in Fourth District for Illegal Possession of Firearm

The NOPD arrested Denzel Milton (pictured, DOB: 03-13-1991) after he was found to be in illegal possession of a firearm on June 22 near the intersection of Opelousas and Sumner streets.

At about 12:13 p.m., NOPD Fourth District officers apprehended Milton after observing him to be fleeing on foot near the intersection while carrying a firearm and a ski mask. Investigation revealed that Milton was on active felony probation at the time of his arrest.

Milton was arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on charges of felon in possession of a firearm.
