Stolen Trailer Reported to the Fourth District

New Orleans – The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in finding a SUV used to steal a parked trailer on June 11, 2020.

At around 6:30 a.m., the pictured gray or beige SUV pulled up to the victim’s “Lark” utility trailer located in a McDonald’s parking lot in the 3200 block of General DeGaulle Drive.  The trailer had been secured by a chain in the lot since February 2020.  The occupant of the SUV was seen cutting the lock and chain attached to the trailer before hitching it to his vehicle.  The subject then fled the location on General DeGaulle toward an unknown location.  The SUV has a missing dark colored rim on its rear passenger side.

For refence purposes only, a picture of a trailer similar to the one reported stolen has been posted above.  The reported stolen trailer bears Louisiana license plate L904904.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the missing trailer and/or the SUV is asked to contact Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040 or call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
