NOPD Seeking Suspects in Fourth District Armed Robbery

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating and identifying two suspects in the investigation of an armed robbery that occurred on June 8, 2020 in the 3600 block of General De Gaulle Drive.

At about 10:30 PM, the victim was reportedly seated inside her parked vehicle in the parking lot of a local business, when an unknown male subject (not pictured) approached the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle, opened the door, and sat inside the passenger seat. At that time, the subject allegedly displayed a handgun, pointed it at the victim and demanded her money. At that time, an unknown second suspect (pictured) then reportedly approached the driver’s side of the vehicle, pointed a handgun with an extended magazine at the victim’s head and demanded the victim’s money. The victim complied and the subjects fled the location eastbound on Kabel Drive in a black sedan with damage to the front driver’s side quarter panel.

The first suspect is described as a black male believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s, standing about 5’10” to 6’0” with a thin build and waist-length dreadlocked hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and dark colored pants.

Anyone with additional information on this incident is asked to contact NOPD Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040 or call anonymously to Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans at 504-822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.
