The NOPD has arrested Elizabeth Slaton (pictured, DOB: 10-03-1983) in the investigation of a business burglary that occurred on June 8, 2020 in the 800 block of Decatur Street.
Through investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives determined that a white female had entered the rear of a business and stole items from inside of the business. Detectives were able to positively identify Slaton as the perpetrator in this incident and obtain an arrest warrant. Slaton was located in the Fifth District later that day and placed under arrest. She was transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center and booked on a charge of simple burglary of a business.
