NOPD Seeks Suspect in Eighth District Auto Theft

NOPD officers are searching for the pictured subject who is wanted in connection with an Eighth District auto theft.

On June 6, 2019 around 12:30 p.m., the victim reportedly parked and secured his 2012 white Subaru Outback, bearing Louisiana license plate #805CNG, in a parking lot located in the 200 block of Loyola Avenue.

Upon entering his place of employment, the victim reportedly placed his keys on the kitchen counter. Around 11 p.m. the same day, the victim observed his keys and vehicle were missing.

During the investigation, officers reviewed surveillance footage and observed an unknown white male wearing a tan hat, gray shirt, black shorts and white shoes, enter the kitchen and remove the victim’s keys from the counter. He then proceeded to the parking lot and drove away in the victim’s vehicle.
