The NOPD arrested a 16-year-old juvenile male suspect in connection with an auto burglary that occurred on June 13, 2019 in the 4700 block of Good Drive.
At approximately 5:26 p.m., the victim was cutting a friend’s grass outside of the friend’s residence. While the victim was cutting the grass, he was notified by a witness that an unknown black male, later identified as the arrested juvenile suspect, was inside of his vehicle. The victim then observed the suspect fleeing on foot, at which time he gave chase and detained him until officers arrived on scene.
The juvenile was arrested without incident and transported to the Juvenile Justice Center, where he was booked with simple burglary.
As the arrested subject is a juvenile, a booking photo is not available.
