Suspect Wanted for Armed Robbery at Walgreens

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a suspect after he was seen committing an armed robbery at knife-point. 

The incident happened on June 24, 2017. At around 9:23 a.m., the above pictured subject entered the Walgreens in the 6200 block of Elysian Fields and confronted the cashier at the counter while brandishing a small silver knife. The subject then demanded money from the register. The cashier complied and the subject fled the location toward Robert E. Lee Boulevard then in an unknown direction.

The subject is described as a black male, 30 to 40 years of age, thin build, approximately 5’6” tall. He was seen wearing a white and black plaid shirt, khaki skirt, black leather cap and black glasses during the incident.
