Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery at Intersection of Jena and Willow Streets

Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery at Intersection of Jena and Willow Streets

The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating an individual believed to be responsible for an armed robbery that also included an aggravated battery by cutting. The incident occurred on June 17, 2017 at the intersection of Jena and Willow streets.

At around 2:15 p.m., the pictured unknown black male approached the victim at the intersection and cut him, possibly with a box cutter, on the back of his left arm. According to the victim, the suspect accused the victim of stealing the bicycle on which the victim was riding. When the victim dismounted the bicycle, the suspect took the bicycle and fled the scene.
