Suspect Arrested for Multiple Auto Burglaries, Possessing Stolen Property

NOPD Sixth District officers have arrested Randy Holmes (DOB: 07/04/1982) for a number of auto burglaries and for possessing stolen property.   

On June 11, 2017 around 12:00 a.m.,  the above subject was observed by officers looking into vehicle windows at the corner of Jackson Avenue and Chestnut Street. The subject was detained during a suspicious person stop.

Through the course of the investigation, officers learned that Holmes was the perpetrator for an auto burglary that occurred on June 3, 2017. After Holmes was arrested, it was discovered that he had several victim’s credit cards, identification cards and other property on him.
