Suspect Arrested for Burglary on Fourth Street

The NOPD has arrested Alfred Holmes (DOB: 3/13/1984) for a burglary in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

 

The victim reported that she was seated in her living room around 11 a.m. on June 11, 2017, when she heard a noise in her kitchen. She stated she went to the kitchen to investigate the noise and found an unknown black male standing in her kitchen, holding what appeared to be an axe in his hand. He then fled out of the back door of the residence.

 

During the investigation, Holmes was developed as a suspect. He was then positively identified as the perpetrator in the incident and arrested on June 14, 2017. Holmes was charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
