The NOPD is searching for a runaway reported from Apple Street.
The reporting person told police she saw Makeyia Smith on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at about 5 p.m. (DOB: 7/28/2001) in the 8400 block of Apple Street. At the time, the juvenile fled the location with a possible male friend to an unknown location in Westwego. She has not returned home since that time.
