NOPD Seeking Suspect Who Cashed Check Stolen in Newton Street Auto Theft

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Natasha Deshawn Brister Taylor (DOB: 05-17-1980) in connection with the cashing of a personal check that was reported stolen in an auto theft on June 7, 2017 in the 1900 block of Newton Street.

At about 2:15 p.m., the victim’s vehicle was reportedly stolen from the 1900 block of Newton Street. On Thursday, June 8, the pictured individual was found cashing a personal check that was reportedly inside the vehicle at the time of the theft.

When located, Taylor will be arrested and charged with illegal possession of stolen things, forgery and monetary instrument abuse.
