Burglary Suspect Wanted in Incident on Le Beouf Street

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Ricky R. Johnson (DOB: 06-29-1966) in connection with a burglary of a residence in the 700 block of Le Beouf Street on June 19, 2017.

The victim told police that she had returned to her residence from a hospital stay and found that a television and bodyweight scale were missing from the residence, also finding the back door of the residence to be unlocked. A neighbor told police that during the time that the victim was away from the residence, she saw a male she identified as Johnson standing inside the residence.

In addition, Johnson is also believed to be responsible for additional burglaries in the Fourth District.

When located, Johnson will be arrested and charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and criminal damage to property.
