New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for aggravated assault and strangulation.
Wanted is Darnell Phoenix (pictured), Black male, DOB 01/18/1995.
According to investigators, at about 10:45 a.m. on July 28, 2024 in the 5600 block of Tullis Drive Darnell Phoenix was inside a residence when he attempted to strangle the victim and then threatened her with a firearm before fleeing.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Darnell Phoenix is asked to call Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
