New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a subject wanted for aggravated second degree battery and for battery of the infirm.
Wanted is John Hawkins (pictured), Black male, DOB 09/11/1959.
According to investigators, at about 1:25 p.m. on July 14, 2024 in the 3000 block of Short Street John Hawkins was involved in a disagreement with the victim when he struck the victim multiple times with a metal pipe. He is known to frequent Broadway Street and to use a bicycle.
All persons are considered innocent until convicted in a court of law.
