New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a person of interest.
Sought is Emely Varela (pictured), Hispanic female, DOB 08/29/2006.
According to investigators, Emely Varela is believed to possess critical information concerning an armed carjacking which occurred on July 12, 2024 in the 1200 block of North Broad Avenue.
Emely Varela is NOT wanted for this crime and is sought only because of information she is believed to possess.
