The NOPD is asking for help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an auto theft and device fraud in the First District.
On July 26, 2023 at about 4:50 p.m., an unidentified suspect stole the victim's silver 2021 Infiniti QX80 which was left running in the 300 block of Scott Street.
The vehicle was seen around the area of Chef Menteur Highway and Bundy Road with the license plate removed.
A short time later, the above pictured unidentified black female attempted to use the victim's credit card, which was stolen along with the vehicle, at a local business in the 7000 block of Read Boulevard. The subject was seen driving a white Nissan sedan without a license plate.
