New Orleans - The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in looking for a vehicle taken during a carjacking incident that occurred on July 3, 2020.
At around 11:05 p.m., the owner of a dark gray 2018 Acura RLX was sitting in his parked car in the 4400 block of Perlita Street when an unknown subject wearing a black face mask, hoodie, and armed with a semi-automatic handgun demanded his vehicle. The victim exited the car and the subject fled in the victim’s vehicle.
For reference purposes only, a picture of the car similar to the vehicle stolen is posted. The reported stolen vehicle has no window tint and a cracked window shield.
