Suspect Sought for Access Device Fraud in Second District

The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating a subject in the investigation of an access device fraud incident that occurred on June 28, 2019 in the 1400 block of Cambronne Street.

The known victim’s vehicle was stolen from Jefferson Parish on June 28, 2019 and reported there to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. The victim later discovered her bank card, which was in the vehicle, had been used at a Walgreens located in New Orleans in the 3200 block of Gentilly Boulevard at around 12:20 p.m. that same day. Surveillance footage showed the pictured subject, who was confirmed to be the subject who reportedly used the victim’s stolen bank card. The victim’s vehicle was observed leaving the parking lot of the business.

The victim’s vehicle was described as a burgundy 2007 Nissan Murano bearing Louisiana license plate 519BDM. A photo is included of the actual vehicle taken from video surveillance, as well as of a vehicle similar to the reported stolen vehicle, for reference purposes.
