NOPD VOWS, U.S. Marshals Arrest Suspect in Fourth District Aggravated Battery

NOPD VOWS, U.S. Marshals Arrest Suspect in Fourth District Aggravated Battery

Members of the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Laurinika Sterling (DOB: 10-21-1989) in the investigation of an aggravated battery that occurred in the 2200 block of Cobblestone Lane on April 24, 2019.

Through investigation, detectives developed Sterling as a suspect and were able to positively identify her as the perpetrator. An arrest warrant was then obtained for Sterling’s arrest on a charge of aggravated battery.

Sterling was located and arrested on July 26 in the 200 block of Wright Avenue in Terrytown, La. A booking photo was not available as of this writing.
