The NOPD is seeking to locate a vehicle reported stolen in an armed carjacking incident that occurred on June 26, 2019 in the 300 block of O’Keefe Avenue, as well as the individuals responsible for this incident.
Through investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives learned that at about 11:00 p.m., the victim was reportedly sitting in her white 2012 Acura TL bearing Louisiana license plate ZFM499 while in a parking lot in the 300 block of O’Keefe Avenue. At that time, three unknown black males allegedly approached her vehicle from the rear, pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded she exit the vehicle. The victim complied, and the suspects reportedly entered the vehicle and fled northbound on Perdido Street, turning westbound on South Rampart Street and then unknown.
