Suspect Wanted for Possessing Stolen Property Taken from Gentilly Boulevard

The NOPD is searching for Yasmin Smith (DOB: 01/07/82) for illegally possessing stolen property taken during an auto burglary incident. 

On May 21, 2018, at around 9 a.m., the victim returned to his vehicle in the 3500 block of Gentilly Boulevard and noticed the glove compartment open and several items missing from the interior. It was also later determined that the victim’s other vehicle was ransacked and the registration was missing. 

The victim received a phone call that same day informing him that someone made charges using his card at an unknown raceway gas station.
