Officers in the Sixth District have arrested Dijon Causey (DOB: 12/10/98) for allegedly illegally carrying a concealed handgun.
The incident happened on July 7, 2018. Sixth District Task Force Officers were on proactive patrol in the 2400 block of Simon Bolivar Avenue when Causey was seen walking east wearing heavy winter clothing during a heat index of 90 degrees. The suspect was also observed walking in a manner that appears he was carrying a concealed handgun.
Through the course of the investigation, it was found Causey had the above pictured .22 caliber handgun concealed in his pants.
He was arrested and booked accordingly.
