UPDATE: Suspects Arrested in Shooting on Garden Oaks Drive

UPDATE: Priscilla Francis arrived at the NOPD Fourth District station on July 20 and was taken into custody without incident. She was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for principle to aggravated battery.

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Priscilla Francis (DOB: 02-21-1995) in connection with an aggravated battery by shooting that occurred in the 3400 block of Garden Oaks Drive on July 14, 2018.

Francis has been positively identified by Fourth District detectives as being at the location when she allegedly was engaged in a verbal altercation with the victim. The alleged perpetrator – identified as Anthony J. Smith Jr. (DOB: 07-09-1993) – was also determined to have been present at the location. Following the altercation, Smith allegedly removed a firearm from his waistband and shot the victim.

As investigation progressed, Smith was located and arrested on July 19. He was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for aggravated battery by shooting.

When located, Francis will be arrested for principle to aggravated battery by shooting.
