NOPD VOWS Unit, Seventh District Arrests Subject on Texas Murder Warrant

The NOPD VOWS unit and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested a man in the Seventh District on an outstanding Texas murder warrant. 

 

On Tuesday, July 2018, David Joshua Edwards (B/M DOB: 11/22/1996) was arrested by the NOPD VOWS Unit and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on an outstanding warrant for a murder that occurred in College Station, Texas, on June 30th, 2018.

 

Seventh District detectives conducted search warrants on two different locations to assist in the follow up investigation concerning the homicide and recovered several firearms.

 

Edwards is currently awaiting extradition to Texas where he will face capital murder charges.
