The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate a suspect believed to be responsible for an auto burglary incident in the 300 block of Basin Street on June 14, 2018.
At about 7:18 p.m., the pictured perpetrator allegedly threw unknown objects at the victim’s vehicle window before forcefully pushing in the right front passenger window. The perpetrator then reportedly gained entry and removed a purse and a camera from the passenger seat before fleeing the scene.
The subject is described as an unknown black male wearing a white shirt tied on top of his head, a purple Mardi Gras-inspired t-shirt with “New Orleans” on the front, dark colored shorts and white tennis shoes.
