NOPD Identifies Suspects Wanted for Aggravated Assault on N. Rampart Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating John Terell Taylor (DOB: 08/17/1993) and a male subject known as “Skinny Man”, who are wanted in connection with an aggravated assault incident that occurred in the 4100 block of North Rampart Street.

The victim told police that on July 27, 2018, he was approached by a silver Chevrolet Cobalt occupied by the pictured subjects. The subjects reportedly exited their vehicle and entered the victim’s vehicle. Taylor reportedly removed the victim’s handgun that was sitting on the driver’s seat and handed it to “Skinny Man”.  “Skinny Man” allegedly pointed the victim’s firearm at the victim and both subjects re-entered their vehicle and fled the scene. The victim reportedly followed the subjects onto the Alvar Street Bridge, at which time “Skinny Man” allegedly began firing shots toward the victim and the pursuit ended.
