NOPD Identifies Suspect in Shooting on Springbrook Lane

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Kirk Favorite (DOB: 09-03-1973) in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on July 18, 2018 in the 2100 block of Springbrook Lane.

At about 8:00 p.m., a shooting occurred in the 2100 block of Springbrook Lane. Detectives learned during the investigation, the victim and Favorite had reportedly been involved in a verbal altercation. During the argument, Favorite allegedly produced a handgun and shot the victim once in the right leg. Favorite was last seen driving a white Ford F-150 truck with a red tailgate.

When located, Favorite will be arrested for aggravated second degree battery by shooting.
