Auto Theft Reported on St. Claude Avenue

Auto Theft Reported on St. Claude Avenue

Officers in the Fifth District are searching for the pictured subject, who is wanted in connection with an auto theft that occurred in the 4300 block of St. Claude Avenue.

The victim told police on Saturday, June 30, 2018, he parked and secured his gray 2017 Honda Civic in the parking lot at or around 10:30 a.m. Upon returning to the location at or around 11:30 a.m. the same day, he discovered his vehicle was missing from the area.

The victim stated that he had left his car keys on the bleachers while playing basketball at the aforementioned location. The victim’s keys were reportedly taken and used to steal his vehicle.  

During the course of the investigation, officers reviewed surveillance footage and observed the pictured subject committing the auto theft.
