Suspect Wanted for Attempted Armed Robbery on Governor Nicholls Street

NOPD Eighth District is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for attempted armed robbery on Governor Nicholls Street.

On Sunday, July 23, 2017 at about 2:15 p.m., the victim was walking southbound in the 800 block of Governor Nicholls Street. The victim told police she was then approached from the front by the pictured subject who reportedly started to retrieve a large black handgun from his waistband and demand the victim’s property. However, the victim stated she fled the scene without turning over any property.
