NOPD is looking for a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault and simple battery in the 14400 block of Peltier Drive.
The victim reported that on July 23, 2017, at approximately 7 a.m., he and Elder Avila (DOB: 1/27/1985) got into a verbal altercation over money. He stated that Avila punched him in the head several times, then produced a large knife from his pants and attempted to stab the victim. He then fled the scene.
