UPDATE: Suspect Sought for Domestic Simple Battery

The victim in this incident below has been located and found in good health. 

Through further investigation, detectives have also identified the pictured suspect and have reclassified this incident as a simple battery (domestic) investigation.

Orginial Story 

NOPD needs the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for second degree kidnapping involving a female victim.

Today, July 23, around 5:15p.m., the female victim was having drinks and playing video games with the suspect in the 1200 block of Poydras Street. At this time, the two became involved in a verbal altercation which turned physical. The female victim left out of the business and was followed by the suspect. The suspect then struck the female victim multiple times knocking her unconscious. The suspect with the assistance of another subject placed the unconscious victim inside of a blue Toyota Tundra and fled the scene.
