Suspect Identified in Theft from Elderly Victim on Eastover Drive

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Lechall Jackson (DOB: 03-04-1962) in connection with theft from an elderly victim in the 6000 block of Eastover Drive.

On July 15, 2017, the victim discovered that Jackson, whom she had hired as her caregiver, had allegedly written over the course of three months several fraudulent checks to herself from the victim’s bank account totaling about $9,000. The checks had been honored by the victim’s bank.

Jackson is wanted for two counts of theft from the elderly and five counts of monetary instrument abuse in regards to this incident.
