The NOPD is looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery that took place around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday (July 15).
The victim reported being punched with a closed fist and robbed of his wallet in the 900 block of Dauphine. An unknown male believed to be the perpetrator was observed on surveillance video as he fled northwest on St. Philip Street towards North Rampart.
He is described as a black male with a light complexion or a white male with a dark complexion. He has a receding hairline and was wearing blue jeans, white running shoes, and had a white t-shirt hanging over his right shoulder. He can be seen looking through the victim’s property as he flees the scene.
