NOPD TIGER Unit Arrests Four on Firearms Charges

Officers with the NOPD’s Tactical Intelligence Gathering and Enforcement Response unit, or TIGER, arrested four suspects on July 26, 2017 on various firearms-related charges 

On the date of the arrests, TIGER Unit officers executed a search warrant at 2300 block of Louisa Street. During execution of the warrant, five firearms were recovered from the residence. Among these discovered firearms was one firearm reported stolen in a vehicle burglary that occurred in the Seventh District, as well as an AR-type pistol equipped with a 100-round drum magazine.

Arrested in connection with this warrant were the following individuals:

  • Kedrick Riley, AKA “Buthie” (DOB: 10-30-1995) was booked into Central Lockup for felon in possession of a firearm and illegal possession of stolen firearms.
  • Seymoure Quinn, AKA “Giz” (DOB: 03-01-1988) was booked into Central Lockup for felon in possession of a firearm and illegal possession of stolen firearms.
  • Quincy Bridges (DOB: 04-07-1987) was booked into Central Lockup on a charge of illegal possession of stolen firearms.
  • Dashaad Smallwood (DOB: 08-13-1999) was booked into Central Lockup on a charge of illegal possession of stolen firearms.
