Fourth District Arrests Suspect for Attempted Residential Burglary

NOPD Fourth District officers arrested Daniel Moses (DOB: 5/5/1994) for attempted burglary of a residence in the 4000 block of Pin Oak Avenue. 

The victim told police he heard his door bell ring on Monday, July 24, 2017 at about 9:40 p.m. After looking out of his front window, he observed Moses walking toward the driveway. The victim then stated he observed the subject removing his hands from the window once the victim made a statement.  Moses reportedly apologized to the victim and stated that he thought the house was abandoned. He then fled the scene in an unknown direction. 

Through the course of the investigation, officers discovered Daniel Moses as the perpetrator in the incident.  He was positively identified by the victim, taken into custody and booked with attempted simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
