NOPD Graduates Newest Class of Recruits from Training Academy

The NOPD today officially graduated Class 179 from the Training Academy in a ceremony held at People's Health New Orleans Jazz Market. The eight recruits will now move into field training with veteran officers.

Suspects Sought in Armed Robbery on Governor Nicholls Street

The NOPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two subjects caught on surveillance footage and believed to be responsible for an armed robbery with a gun on July 12, 2017 in the 800 block of Governor Nicholls Street.
