The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a man reported as missing.
Sylvan Gross Jr. (DOB: 06-11-1963) was last seen in Fredricksburg, Va. boarding a bus heading to New Orleans, but has not been seen or heard from since that time. Gross was scheduled to arrive in New Orleans on July 12 to meet family, but did not do arrive on the bus. The bus reportedly made a stop on July 11 in Atlanta, Ga., where Gross may have possibly exited the bus.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Sylvan Gross Jr. is asked to contact Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070.
