Suspect Wanted in Theft on Loyola Avenue

Suspect Wanted in Theft on Loyola Avenue

The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating an unknown male wanted in connection with a theft that occurred on January 14, 2017 in the 1000 block of Loyola Avenue.

At about 10:50 a.m., the unknown black male pictured offered to assist the victim as he attempted to utilize the bathroom facilities inside of an area building, at which time the subject approached the victim from the rear and stole the victim’s wallet, cellphone and headphones from the victim’s pockets. The subject then fled the scene on foot

The subject is identified as a black male, last seen wearing a dark striped sweater, blue jeans and brown shoes.
